The North Baddesley Community Centre is a charity that provides a place for social meetings and leisure activities for the residents of North Baddesley. A great location for people of all ages to meet within the village.

The hall is a good size with a capacity of around 150 people, stage with lighting for bands or a DJ, newly fitted kitchen, refurbished WCs including disabled access and baby changing facilities. There is also a pool table, darts boards and an enclosed outside space at the rear. Access to the licensed bar is available for private events.

Testimonials

“The hall has been a great venue for our Brownies group since we moved here. It is always clean and well maintained and the committee members have been so helpful and welcoming. Since we started meeting here, there have been upgrades to the floor, outdoor area and kitchen which makes the hall a really usable space for our group. Having access to enclosed outdoor space, as well as direct access to the field, means we can offer a really wide range of fun activities for our girls. The rates are very reasonable and I would highly recommend this as a venue for other youth groups or community organisations.”

“‘During term time North Baddesley Community Centre is home to Hollytree Community Preschool. We are one of the few community preschools left in the area and so offer a valuable resource to many families in North Baddesley and the surrounding areas. We make full use of the spacious hall, offering lots of play opportunities for children aged 2 -4 to learn from. The recent addition of an enclosed back garden area means our children can play safely outdoors too. The hall is ideally located next to the playground, field and woods so we can offer lots of outdoor experiences.”

“‘Our slimming club has been going to the community centre for 16 years now, and without it, we would have nowhere to go. We all pay a small amount each week and it works out just right for us all. Including Christmas time when we have our Christmas party there. Community centres like this are excellent for getting people together young and old.”
